This week has been a hard week. I realized a setting in my drawing app was not high enough. It was a setting I didn’t even know existed. I was researching how to check the dots per inch (DPI) of my images, which lead me down a rabbit hole. Ending up at the bottom, realizing I need to redraw ALL of my images to make them more crisp. Part of me is so upset at having to redraw everything, the other part is glad it happened now instead of later. But enough of that, let’s move onto the exciting news!

Sweet Summertime Design

I absolutely love the elements in my patterns. Some of the patterns make it hard to pull specific elements out and put them in a cohesive design (looking at you Jungle Leaves). But I thought my Summer Fun Pattern with the flamingos, sunshine, and greenery was a perfect start to creating some Summertime designs. I love how this design turned out, although I foresee myself running into an issue of coming up with short, cute sayings. 😅

New Pattern Drop

I will be launching my Sunflower Gingham Pattern on the 16th! The pattern will be launching with three color swatches: green, blue, and orange. I will have it uploaded on various items on my website and RedBubble shop. If you have any ideas on what you would like this pattern on, my poll below is the best place to let me know!

Other Updates

• I have another pattern set to release on the 23rd. Much like my Oranges and Sweets pattern, it’s also inspired by the female main character in Elle Sterling’s latest book (shoutout to you, Elle, and your brilliant writing!)

• I am moving through, redoing my patterns as efficiently as I can. It’s a tedious process, but I am hoping to have an “I finished this madness” sale when I’m done!

• I have already started working on my fall inspired patterns. I am not a fan of the summer heat, and the fall colors and ghosts were already speaking to me!
