I feel like I have been all over the place recently. Between uploading my Winter Collection to my shops, developing my Spring Collection, new Procreate updates, and taking art classes, my brain was in over drive (oh I was also working my full time job and spending time with my family). I decided to slow down and focus on one thing at a time. For the rest of the year, I decided I’m not going to be making patterns or planning pieces to sell. I am going to focus on drawing everyday, refining my technique and exploring my art style. I made this decision last week and so far I’m having a lot more fun than I was! Procreate recently updated their app and added 180+ new brushed to their brush library, so I am focusing on exploring different categories of brushes, and how to draw different animals and botanicals. Stay tuned for more updates on my art journey!

Winter Collection is Live!

My Winter Collection is now available for purchase! The collection consists of four patterns in 3-4 different color variations. The patterns are available on a wide variety of products on my RedBubble shop. On my website, I have the patterns on coffee mugs, glass tumblers, and throw blankets. The Christmas with my Gnomies design is available on sweatshirts, long sleeve t-shirts, and short sleeve t-shirts.

Art Sneak Peaks

I am working my way through an art class by Mel Armstrong called The Art & Joy of Surface Pattern Design. One of the exercises for finding an art style is to draw a specific category for 14 days. I am working my way through animals, and this is what I have created so far! I am thoroughly enjoying testing myself and developing my drawing skills.
