I thought if I said “fall is coming” enough, it would really happen. This is the point of the summer where I am over the heat, mosquitos, humidity, even the pool does not appeal to me anymore; give me cool, crisp air ASAP. But I live in Alabama, so I’m lucky if I see that weather at all. 🙃  Moving on to what we’re really here for: updates!

Apple Gingham Pattern

This is the second gingham pattern I did that has minor fall undertones. I really created this and the Sunflower Gingham Pattern to help curb my appetite for drawing things that scream fall and coziness. Spoiler Alert: it didn’t curb anything. It threw me straight into creating two of my Fall Collection patterns.

Project Stationary

I tried to come up with a cool, secret project name, but I am horrible at naming things, so here we are with Project Stationary. I am slowly but surely designing stationary items to upload to Zazzle. If you’re unfamiliar with Zazzle (like I was), it is a marketplace known for having a wide variety of product customizations. They have so many things, but I will be focusing on their notebooks, notepads, planners, sticky notes, etc. Like RedBubble, I would list my products and receive a commission, which isn’t ideal, but it satisfies my stationary itch.

I want to test some of the items before launching, so it may take me more time than I am thinking. Right now, I am aiming to open my shop and have the first round of products ready to go by the end of August. Fingers crossed that will be the case! I have no fear or qualms with pushing back the date if I need to, but I’m so excited I would do it now if I could!

Pattern Updates

I am pausing pattern launches for the month of August. I am in a good place right now with the current patterns I am offering and thought it was a good idea to be able to focus 100% on designing my Fall Collection. I have two patterns almost fully complete and cannot wait to show you the full designs!
